Turner Construction hired BAMCO inc. to provide collectively over 35,000 square feet of BAMCO’s P-500 aluminum plate metal panels, insulated panels, single-skin roof screen panels and louvers for Coney Island Hospital.
The redevelopment is part of a major $922 million hospital campus renovation to demolish, replace and repair flood-damaged buildings from Superstorm Sandy. The new hospital building, built on the north side of the hospital’s campus, is expected to open in early 2022. Included within the scope of work is light gauge framing, sheathing and waterproofing behind the panel systems.
